Harley

Most loving and dependent dog.
Golden Retriever
4  years  10   months old
male

He has lots of love to give. He loves being around people all of the time. He demands a lot of attention and petting. He also wants to play most of the time or any time. He does shed quite a lot especially in summer times. He loves walks, and fetches his toy back to you when you toss it all the time. You don't need to command him to bring the toy back, he does it himself. If you sit and relax he will want to sit next to you on the couch so you can pet him all the time. We actually trained him to stay off the couches since a while back because of the shedding. He is the kindest dog. He isn't' jealous, or aggressive towards other people or his food. I can put my hand in his bowl while he's eating and he won't even care. It will hurt us immensely to see him go, but our newborn comes first. We hate to see him sad and bored most of the day because we don't have the time to give him the attention we used to give. We reduced walks and play time to less than half of what we used to. I know that he will be spend better times of his life with a family that will love him and play with him just like he wants. I will emphasize that he is an indoor dog. He sleeps, eats, lays, and hangs around indoors 95% of the time. He only goes outside for play time, potty, and lay under the sun just to warm up a little. He doesn't like to be alone, but he will understand that sometimes people have to leave him at home alone for a while. He is potty trained and knows a few other tricks. Like sit, down, spin, rollover, high five. He had a surgery on his stomach when he was around a year and a half or two years old. So his stomach is a little picky when it comes to food. He likes ProPlan Adult, chicken and rice mix dry food. He likes to eat when his family is eating, unless he's really hungry.
