Dougie
Dougie was adopted when he was just 6 weeks old. You wouldn’t guess he is 11 because he looks and acts like a puppy! He has lived a great life in NYC and in Seattle, he was my baby for 6 years until I had babies of my own. The shift in lifestyle for Dougie with kids has been difficult for him. While he is a sweet and happy dog, he doesn’t do as well with little kids. He doesn’t bite or get aggressive, he just doesn’t like to be physically pet but loves to snuggle and be at your side all day long (which is hard when kids want to pet him). Dougie requires a lot of attention and loves to be the star of the show, very active and healthy. He has had a few teeth pulled but other than that no medical issues. Our family schedule is insane with school and sports and work, and as much as I hate to re-home my first little baby- I feel that he deserves a home that can give more attention to him. We also have a 2nd home that we can’t travel with him when we visit. He needs a home without children or other pets, who are also home a lot and will give him the love he deserves. Dougie is crate trained.
