Harley
Harley is a good natured, happy dog, who’s somewhat timid in unknown situations and when meeting new people. She warms up quickly to her new humans though. She lives with her mommy and daddy humans and her pack of 2 jack russell terriers (brother and sister). She loves hiking, walking, eating and sleeping (especially the latter 2)! Her favorite activity though is cuddling with her special human, she can’t get enough of it! She’s a senior now, but still in extraordinarily good shape and spirits! She’s fully vaccinated and has never been in trouble with the law! Due to her humans’ family circumstances, they are moving to a far away place across the ocean and she’s not allowed to travel with them (snub nosed breed). Which is why, as much as it breaks their hearts, they have decided to find her a loving, caring and quiet home. Preferably not around young children or pets. She’s a senior, she needs her rest, food, cuddles, walks and her loving new human(s)! Harley was rescued from a southern state, she had a difficult start due to either being neglected or abused, we don’t know for sure. She was a really timid dog, anxious and on edge all the time. Over time though, she got more relaxed and started trusting her humans more and more! As she’s lying next to me on the couch now, not a care in the world, snoring her heart out, I think she’s made tremendous progress! She still gets timid and nervous in certain situations, but it usually doesn’t take long for her to regain trust and confidence. My wish for her is to find a human/family that can offer her quiet and peace, without to much excitement/unrest, just safe and steady! Looking at how far she’s come, I think she deserves that new, safe and peaceful forever home! She’s the sweetest, cuddliest dog!
