Nona (Monona)
Please reach out if you're interested in becoming Nona's new forever home. Three years ago, I rescued Nona from a shelter in Wisconsin, hoping to give her the life she deserves forever. It has been an honor raising Nona into the loving, charismatic, well-behaved dog she is today, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. However, I recently moved to Orange County from the Midwest for a job that now demands I come into the office five days a week. I'm doing everything I can to make sure she's happy and healthy, but being away from her every day and struggling to afford daycare services with no family in the area to help has become a challenge for both of us. I've come to believe that there is a lucky family out there that Nona deserves waiting for her. Nona is an amazing, sweet, energetic, playful, and loving girl. She's incredibly smart and curious, tilting her head every time you speak as if she's trying to understand. She gets along with all dogs and people, greeting everyone with a wagging tail. Some of her favorite things include going to the beach, chewing on sticks/bones, playing fetch, going for runs/hikes, and snuggling up when she's tired. She rarely barks, only when she's excited to play or hears someone at the door. Nona is well-trained, listening to all basic commands, and behaves extremely well both on and off-leash. Nona is active and always ready for adventure, making her great for anyone who loves to explore the outdoors. She would be the most amazing addition to any family, preferably with kids or other dogs to match her youthful spirit. Nona has become my soulmate, and I know she will become the same for someone else. I'm looking for someone who will give her the life she deserves, full of love, attention, and adventure.
