Basil
Basil is 2 year old American Bullnese (half French bulldog and half Pekingese). She’s the sweetest girl that takes a while to warm up, but once you do, she’ll never want to leave you. Best for a single dog household, and individuals who can work from home and provide her with companionship and structure. To note, she can be aggressive toward other dogs and strangers, and will need someone who is experienced with training but who will provide lots of love. We’ve provided her basic training and is house trained, although she does suffer from separation anxiety so she tends to break that when left alone. She’s doing a lot better with her training, and was socialized at the facility. When provided attention and structure she is very obedient, but still needs prompting and an owner who is proactive. She’s protective and behaves more similarly to a Pekingese. She’s really a sweet, cuddly, loving and loyal dog but since returning to work it’s been hard to provide the care she needs.
