Marcus
We’ve had Marcus for almost 2 years now. We adopted him from the SPCA and we were told he was displaced from the Paradise fire and nobody came to claim him. Like most people in 2020, we were stuck indoors and I figured it was time for a pet. We looked at a few in the shelter, but Marcus stuck out to us and he has been a perfect fit for whatever situation we’ve been in. He’s been previously house trained, and aside from a couple accidents we’ve had no issues. He’s great with our younger nieces and nephews who come over frequently. Only thing is he does not get along with other dogs in our experience. We haven’t had an up close situation yet, but he always whines and tries to lunge at other dogs during walks. Currently we are looking at a move to Washington and our new landlord is very against pets, and Marcus does have a bit of arthritis that flares up more so in colder temperatures. After a long and hard deliberation period we feel it’s best if he finds a new home and family here in California.
