Shasta
Shasta has been in the local humane society three times throughout her life. And when she was last adopted there was no information on her at all due to her being ditched outside of the building. The only info provided was that she is up to date, healthy and unfortunately front declawed, but come to find she doesn’t respond well to other animals at all which has since been an issue in my household. Shasta thrives when she is in a pet free environment, and will eventually open up to you. She absolutely loves chin scratches and her favorite treat is a little bit of canned tuna. She absolutely hates being picked up or moved. I have a strong feeling whomever had her before did not take care of her, so she is very sensitive in a few different ways. Shasta needs plenty of time and attention, as well as nurturing to get her to trust people more. Unfortunately I don’t have the means to provide the best life for my girl, so I’m hoping I can find someone who does.
