Sydney
Sydney came from just outside of Minnesota. She is 7 years of age with a lot of liveliness left in her. She loves going on frequent walks to get rid of all of her energy. She will always greet you coming home by running up and down the stairs at least 3 times so she is calmer to greet you. Sydney is a very good dog and knows right from wrong. She can last over 12 hours without peeing in the house. Sydney loves to spend her free time outside, playing fetch, tug-a-war, or chewing a nice brand new bone! Sydney is a very smart dog and definitely knows right from wrong in almost all circumstances. She is a dog with a lot of personality, be it an extreme level of excitement, sitting in a corner with a little attitude or snuggling up as close as possible for the most pets. One thing we want to be Shared is that she is very anxious and curious to meet others and it may appear otherwise until up close. House guests are typically met with excitement or may need to leave Sydney be for about ten minutes for her to feel safe. We are looking for an owner who is caring and has time to devote to giving Sydney attention she needs and work with her through the times she gets most anxious. Money for us is not an issue as much as finding her a loving home. She has bitten two individuals and I want to share that outright. I want people to know that she is an amazing dog 99% of the time. The two interactions came two years ago during Christmas with 30 guests (made her really insecure) and a year ago when someone wasn’t careful before trying to pet her. She is loving, fun, + full of energy. We are looking for a home that likely doesn’t have younger children for Sydney. We also would prefer a home without other pets, as she is not the best with other dogs and has had a few run-ins at the dog park or on walks, she is very independent and feels threatened by another dog joining her in the house. We want an individual that can give her the love she needs and help work with her in anxious situations and give her a lot of attention.
