Kobe and Obi
We are looking to re-home our two parakeets, Kobe (green) and Obi (blue). They are best buddies and very attached to each other, so they must be re-homed together. Kobe loves to talk, and Obi, even though she is a bit shy at first, will join in if she hears Kobe talking. If they hear noises they like, such as human voices or music, both birds will chatter loudly. A true bird owner knows that a chirpy bird is a happy bird, so please keep this in mind before committing to taking Kobe and Obi in. Along with Kobe and Obi, all of their supplies will be provided with them. This includes the cage, toys, perches, food and water bowls, parakeet food, parakeet treats, bird-safe cleaning wipes, odor neutralizing bird litter, spray bottle for baths, seed-catching net, and first aid spray for birds. Kobe and Obi prefer to be in a room with lots of natural light during the day, and they like it dark at night, preferably with a blanket covering their cage. They prefer to be kept in a room where they can watch all the household action and listen to human voices, TV, music, etc. Kobe and Obi do not like dogs or cats; they are easily spooked by them, and when they fly, a dog or cat will have a natural instinct to chase them, further scaring Kobe and Obi. Kobe and Obi like to chew on sticks, so if I found a nice stick outside, I would always pick it up for them. They like to be let out of their cage sometimes, but they will generally stay in the same room their cage is in. They like to sit up high and watch the world go by, so I would duct-tape sticks to the doorframes and tops of windows to give them places to sit. Because I am providing all the supplies and because I want Kobe and Obi to go to a good home, I am asking $200 as an upfront cost. Since it is so cold outside, I am willing to deliver if you live in the Bismarck/Mandan area. Otherwise we can meet somewhere, but please be advised that parakeets are very sensitive to cold and all measures must be taken to keep them warm.
