Jake (Shorkie)
Looking to re-home my puppy. My Jake boy is as loving as they come. He just wants to play and be close. It’s only me and my daughter (age 11) in our home. With me being active duty and my daughter in school/ after school activities, we just can’t give him the attention he needs. As long as he gets taken outside as often as he should, I would consider him house broken with mistakes (poop) every so often. He loves walks (take water with him). As long as he is stimulated with his toys, he is not destructive. Behavior wise he’s very protective. He barks when the doorbell rings or if an unfamiliar person comes around. He’s very curious as to who’s in our space. He is friendly to whoever is around as he loves attention. He does not like to get his nails trimmed, but he is very good otherwise with grooming. He has no health problems, and is currently a patient at Acridale Animal hospital. He is a very picky eater who doesn’t enjoy beef at all lol The food he eats is Science Diet, kibble and wet food mixed together. Sometimes for wet food I spoil him with the Rachel Ray Nourish wet food. He doesn’t like collars very much, he only likes harnesses when going for walks. He also doesn’t like car rides very much unless he can sit in your lap the whole time. He has not ever been introduced to other dogs/ pets so I’m not sure how he’d react. Maybe have to slowly be introduced. All in all he is in no way vicious I’m positive he’d be scared/nervous/on the defense about initial introductions. I love Jake very much and could go on and on and on. I’d just like to give him a chance at a family who has a lot time for him. A visit to your home would be appreciated and requested if possible to meet you and your family to see how Jake responds to you and your environment. Adoption fee negotiable. Comes with 3 months of flea meds, leashes, harness’s, food/water bowl, food, lots of toys, 2 cages, & a car seat.
